"Deceptive Booking Experience"
We arranged a cruise with Norwegian that included airfare for our family of five, which required two cabins (Mom, Dad, two sons, and a girlfriend, ages 15, 20, and 20). The reservations were meant to be connected. The agent mentioned that the airfare would be determined by the cruise line (we got the hint: we wouldn’t find out the airline or flight times until a month before). What the agent didn’t say was that this could lead to our family being split up on different airlines, and in our case, even on different days! We were told we could arrive the day before the cruise (February 4). Living in Canada, February weather can be a bit dicey. After some changes, two of the kids ended up on a separate flight, while three were scheduled for February 4, and two for February 5. We might have managed this, but our son and his girlfriend are not on the same flight, and the stress is ruining the whole trip. If our sales agent was aware that we could be separated for travel, why didn’t she discuss how the group would be divided? The bottom line is we would have NEVER booked this trip if we had known the flight conditions in detail. NEVER! When I reached out to Customer Service, the representative kindly shared that she herself wouldn’t book a deal like this given the situation my family is facing. Thanks a lot!!! It’s disappointing that Smartcruiser wasn’t transparent during the sale and made no effort to help us resolve this. You just washed your hands of it and pointed fingers at Norwegian. I expected the Sales Agent to be knowledgeable about what she was selling and to be truthful! Your company has turned our Christmas gift to our kids into a nightmare, wasted countless hours trying to fix this mess, and forced us to shell out another $3,000 for new flights to save their Christmas gift.

"15 YEARS OF EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE"
I've been collaborating with SmartCruiser for about a decade and a half, and I can't recommend them enough. Their customer support is outstanding, and you won't find better prices anywhere. I used to hunt for great deals, but now I can always count on SmartCruiser to get me the best options. We've enjoyed fantastic and reliable service from them for the over 15 cruises we've arranged together.

"Top-notch service experience"
Smartcruiser might just be the finest travel agency around. They offer fantastic rates, outstanding customer support, and on top of that, you snag extra bonuses and perks when you book through them instead of going directly with the cruise line.

I've been a loyal customer for years and plan to stick with them for many more simply because they always keep their word.

We first reserved a virtual interior balcony on the Wonder of the Seas. Then we discovered that Smartcruiser had a group deal for a better cabin type (central park balcony) that was even less expensive than our interior. We called them up and got to chat with Lynne, who was super helpful with our booking. About an hour later, we got a new booking confirmation with the updated price and cabin type. Now that's what I call service!

Huge shoutout to Lynne, and I also want to give a nod to Patti, who has helped us with our bookings in the past. They really go above and beyond.

"Dealing with Kim Tush is a breeze"
Working with Kim Tush is a real pleasure. She’s assisted us in arranging our cruises multiple times. We usually plan our trips alongside another couple, all on one call using speaker mode. She simplifies everything and genuinely seems to care about our needs. We’ve gone through Smart Cruiser numerous times. Prices are always solid. No issues whatsoever.

"Impact of Covid-19 on Cruise Plans"
Navigating the cruise planning process has been tough because of Covid-19. Our initial trip was supposed to be a week-long cruise through Alaska's inside passage, but it got canceled due to the pandemic. Since then, we've been busy sorting out credits, refunds, and trying to book another cruise.
Thankfully, Patti Hernandez from Smart Cruiser has been a real lifesaver during this whole ordeal. It’s been a rough ride, but Patti has shone brightly, assisting us with cancellations, securing credits, and setting up a new cruise that we’re hoping will happen this November.
Honestly, without her help, this whole situation could’ve turned into a much bigger headache than just the usual frustrations of dealing with the cruise line. Big thanks to Smart Cruiser for having such awesome staff to support us!
